Rapid Innovation: Understanding COVID-19 through Seroprevalence

100 new cases, 200 new cases, 300 and more. It's hard to read any news source today without hearing about how many new COVID-19 cases have been found daily in jurisdictions across Canada and countries around the world.

But how prevalent is COVID-19, really? We can understand how pervasive the spread of COVID-19 is not only through nasal and throat swabs, but also through testing antibodies in blood and applying advanced statistical modeling: Seroprevalence.

SeroTracker is a COVID-19 seroprevalence tracking platform commissioned by the Canadian Federal COVID-19 Immunity Task Force. SeroTracker is hosted by the University of Calgary Centre for Health Informatics, and is built with collaboration of researchers and develeopers from universities around the world, including Oxford, Harvard, University of Toronto, and Alberta's own University of Calgary and University of Lethbridge.

Please join us in this exclusive look into the story and platform behind SeroTracker. Learn how the research and development teams were able to rapidly build, from the ground up, the technology and processes required to host this powerful platform that is used by clinicians, researchers and policy makers around the world.

Hosted virtually by Zoom. Link will be accessible in the event details of your Eventbrite invite.
